A Christmas Letter From the council President SHC Lee County

To the residents and stakeholders of SHC Lee County, I would like to take this time as I sit alone and wish each and everyone of you a very Merry Christmas and a very Blessed New Year to come as we get ready to celebrate the joyful season of Christmas.

Let us stop and remember the true reason for the season and  the birth of our lord Jesus in a little barn in Israel under the full moon and the stars was shining  down up on him. They foretold of the birth of a king laying in a bed of hay with the sheep and cows all around him. The three wise men came to bring him gift’s and to lay their eyes up on the new born Son of God and to see the most beloved Mother of all Holy, Mary Mother of Our God.

This time of year makes me wish I could of attend the Mid-Night Mass last Night but I didn’t have any way of getting there but I did get to watch one on TV. That helped,  as most of us residents are on site, and none of our families come to see us. We have to remember that the staff is our family now.

As Resident Council President, I would like to take this time out to thank some people who have helped me during the year. I will never forget them and what they have done for me throughout my life as being a resident in here:  Joe & Sony Steier,  Tod  Smith, Eddy Stockton, Some of the staff at SHC  Lee County Care and Rehab.

I would also like to thank the  Great work that our Admin. Eddy Stockton did if he is leaving I am going to miss him. He is a man of  among many in closing as we look to another year. He has come and gone in but in the 5 years I have been here I have never been treated any better than I have in here. Joe Should be happy with what his mom has built up from the ground up. So, on Behalf of myself Resident Council President Brian Angel And My Vice President Dequan Cloud and my  Treasury Zenith Thorpe and my Secretary Inez  Hobbs we all wish you a very Merry Christmas and a very blessed and happy New Year to come and may God bless all the Resident’s And Stake Holder’s and everyone in the Home office in Louisville as well.
